What's an Alpha Male to do when he meets the Alpha Female of his dreams? Step one, hide all sharp objects. All Zach Sheridan ever wanted was to become Alpha Male of his Pack and be left alone. What he definitely didn't need in his life was some needy female demanding his attention. What he never saw coming was the vicious, scarred female who not only demanded his attention but knew exactly how to get it.
Sara Morrighan knew this was the best she could expect from her life. Good friends. A nice place to live. And a safe job. But when Zach rode into her small Texas town with his motorcycle club, Sara knew she wanted more. She knew she wanted him. But after one sexy encounter with her dream biker, everything is starting to change. Her body. Her strength. That new thing she's doing with the snarling. Even her best friends are starting to wonder what's going on with her. But this is only the beginning.
Sara's about to find out her life was meant for so much more. And Zach's about to find true love with the one woman who makes him absolutely insane. Warning, this title contains the following: explicit sex, graphic language, and strong violence.
After that, the blog took off and I was inundated with review requests and I kinda lost it with the series. Then, my good friend Rae (remember Rae? She used to review here but then life got in the way....) recommended the dragon series by GA Aikin. Again, I devoured these in one sitting, laughing my ass off at the slightly psychotic female characters and the hapless males (in this case, arrogant dragons which was ridiculous fun!). I was absolutely LOVING Eibhear's book (why are all the best heroes blue in some way? :D) I was astounded to learn that these two series were written by the same author!!
Some things never go away, like vile enemies, bad ale, and annoying kin. But I thought I was finished with the one dragon I'd have done anything for: Éibhear the Blue, a big, gorgeous, blue-haired beast who thinks the world belongs to him. The world and, apparently, me.
So if Éibhear wants to play the caring hero and travel into the most forsaken of Gods forsaken lands to protect the one woman who doesn't need it--namely me--I'll let him. Because while I'm trying to fulfil a ridiculous quest for a pushy god, I'm going to draw this overconfident warlord much too close, rekindle his fires, and enjoy every minute of his delicious defeat..
Knowing this, I had to try her other series and just started digging into her bear series. This may be my favorite comedy PNR series EVER. Seriously, it had me laughing like a loon on a bus (yes, I was the person no one wanted to sit next to...). Again the females are insane, bitchy, violent STRONG characters. I love the story ARCs although I'll admit, I get confused with who the hell everyone is. These books make me smile and that is a rare thing in a period where authors seem to really like angst (I like angst but sometimes I NEED funny).
He's big, burly, and way smarter than your average shapeshifting bear. He's also about to get trapped by own his game. . .
Lou Crushek is a reasonable, mellow, easygoing kind of guy. But once someone starts killing the scumbags he works so hard to bust, that really gets under his fur. Especially when that someone is a curvy she-tiger with a skill set that's turning Crush's lone-bear world upside down--and bringing his passion out of hibernation. . .
As a member of an elite feline protection unit, Marcella Malone has no problem body-dropping anyone who hunts her kind. But Crush is proving one major pain in her gorgeous tail. The only reason she's joined forces with him is to track down the wealthy human who's got her entire species in his ruthless sights. It sure isn't because Crush's stubborn and contrary attitude is rubbing Cella in all the right ways. .
You need this author in your life....
